Log Cabin quilts were popular during the Civil War and were an economic way to use up fabric scraps. Mr. John’s sample is a double quilt size but if you make more block’s, you can make your quilt any size you wish. This is an easy and timeless project that you will want to make again and again. You will learn your basic foundational quilt making skills creating one of the early American classics in your own color wave and style.
